When surfing the internet, the above title attracts my attention. I cannot help reading it out and then sharing with more friends who are interested in the reasons causing to the total failure to give up smoking.

To begin with, let’s take a look at the results of some investigations among 1800 ex-smokers.

Have you tried give up smoking?

66% of them said “yes”, while 34% gave “no”.

How long have you ever kept quitting smoking?

The following chart can make us see clearly.

Within 1 week: 22%

1 week to 3 months: 41%

According to the expert, if one persists in quitting smoking for more than two years, he can achieve success. From the chart we know that 87% of the investigated ex-smokers relapse within one year, and the vast majority relapse in three months. Giving up smoking is a tough task to accomplish! Is it really more difficult than climbing the Himalayas?

Then it is what on earth that makes ex-smokers give up that bad habit in vain! When asked the main causes which retract them to where they were, they give various answers. I do believe we can learn something from the following diagram.

The main reasons for failure to give up smoking:

For special happy and unhappy things: 49%

For weak resistance to the temptation: 24%

For saving face: 14%

For better feeling: 7%

Others: 5%

The first and foremost reason is due to special occasions. It is quite understandable. Many people use the cigarette to kill or release loneliness or irritancy. My father often resorts to cigarettes when he is happiest or unhappiest. The second cause is weaker willpower. Indeed, to those heavy smokers, it is really hard to bear when addiction hits. Saving face is also an important contributor. Besides, some ex-smokers feel worse than what they used to be. I do believe this is because their bodies have not gotten used to the new environment. Of course, there are still many other reasons.

I do believe many smokers have tried or trying kinds of methods to throw away cigarettes. No matter what drugs they use, the results seem to be the same. They failed again and again. To my humble opinion, the addiction results from not only the physiological dependence but more due to psychological vanity. To many people, cigarettes stand for the status. High-grade cigarette can satisfy some people’s vanity. And to some people, cigarette is not only a cigarette. It is a good partner when one feels lonely, a lover to comfort him when in time of trouble and a friend to help him out when in irritancy.

Anyhow, smoking really does too harm to the body that it must be killed.

Among the tons of cigarette alternatives, the most outstanding one should be the new electronic cigarette-a high tech product. The revolutionary electronic cigarette is a non-flammable electronic device, adopting advanced microelectronic technology to provide smokers with a safer alternative to ordinary cigarettes. The e-cigarette atomizes liquid nicotine when inhaled, giving smokers the nicotine dose that they so frequently crave.

Electronic cigarette is becoming more and more popular. Firstly, e-cigarette is harmless. Because it does not include the tar, carbon monoxide, lead as well as mercury and other harmful substances which are common in the tobacco. Secondly, electronic cigarette is a safe smoking alternative for the electronic cigarettes do not need to ignite, so there is no fire or fire hazard. In addition, the electronic cigarette is not burning thus producing no soot, no cigarette butts or second-hand smoke, so it is called “green” cigarette alternative.

If you have not given it a try, it is really a pity. Why not come to Chinazrh to look at its wholesale electronic cigarettes.
